Historic Racing Exhibition

Vintageracing.jpg

On Thursday, Friday, and Saturday of Indianapolis 500 race weekend the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum will host more than 60 historic Indy 500 race cars and their present-day owners, drivers, and mechanics for a driving exhibition on the world’s most famous race track. Visit “Historic Gasoline Alley” at the east parking lot of the Museum to see the cars and talk with our VIP participants.

As part of the festivities, the historic vehicles, representing the period 1911-1994 in Indianapolis 500 lore, will take to the track to showcase the adventure, thrill, automotive innovation, and seat-of-the-pants engineering that has taken place at the Brickyard since the inaugural 500-Mile Race.
